Age: There is no exact number listed anywhere, but I would assume he is around 24-26 years old.

Personality: At the most basic core of his personality, Laslow is an awkward optimist. He makes the active choice to view everything around him in a positive light and attempt to make the best of any situation. His philosophy is that by being positive himself and smiling constantly, he will be able to spread that positivity to those around him - which is especially helpful on the battlefield as it keeps everyone upbeat about their prospects!

Having been a shy child, Laslow was given the advice by his mother to just try flirting with girls to get over his awkwardness. This turned into a lifelong obsession with flirting. But Laslow does not discriminate with his flirting! He is happy to flirt with literally any woman because, in his mind, every girl is beautiful and deserving of his affection. Of course, this leaves him seeming like some sort of horrible player and so his success rate with women is absolutely zero But he doesn't let that get him down and keeps moving on to the next cute girl to flirt with.

That awkwardness of Laslow's personality did not just disappear with his faked bravado, though. He is still a horribly insecure person, as evidenced by the fact that he refuses to let others see him dance or hear him sing, even though they are things that he is arguably very good at. While he will often use self-deprecating humor to lighten the mood after he's been rejected by a girl, it's obvious that it sometimes still gets to him and gets him down on a very deep level.

Serving others has become a very basic part of Laslow's personality. Having been pulled from his own world to help the royals of another land has instilled in him a deep need and desire to protect those whose safety he is charged with. In particular, Laslow is very dedicated, as shown by the fact that he is the only Nohrian retainer who can be killed in Birthright, whereas the others simply retreat after defeat. Laslow sticks by his lord's side until the bitter end.

Laslow also has a tendency to fall into bouts of nostalgia without warning. This will be less of a problem in this setting, but he will certainly have a knack for falling into funks where he thinks about what his life might have been like and what he should be missing. These little caveats are always brief and quickly replaced by his usual cheery optimism.

So, generally speaking, Laslow is a friendly (sometimes overly friendly) person who just wants to spread cheer and keep the people important to him safe - and maybe land a girl in the process, if he's lucky (which he never is)!
Abilities: Laslow is just a plain, normal human being. But! He is a mercenary, which means that he's skilled at fighting in general and with a sword in particular. He also likes to think of himself as a capable flirt - though he isn't. He's a very bad flirt. Not good at it at all.
